In keeping with the season, I have chosen a garden book for this month. I have concentrated mainly on fiction books with artists as illustrators for my Picture Books of the Month, because I wanted to spotlight illustrators and creativity. I couldn’t resist this book with photos, as Pumpkin Circle by George Levenson and Shmuel Thaler is a creative work of art despite being nonfiction. I like a more recent book by them even better, but it is less of a picture book.
