Horizons Transitional Books

The next installment in the Horizons Transitional Book Challenge is Christopher Golden’s The Myth Hunters, first book of The Veil series. It is horror/fantasy, but fairly tame for this genre.

This is my first encounter with Christopher Golden’s work. So far I like what I’ve read. Definitely want to read more of  the series.

If you like The Myth Hunters, you’ll definitely like the second and third volumes!

I almost didn’t finish The Myth Hunters. It took about 100 pages to get into it. Since it so closely follows the usual fantasy pattern, I wasn’t sure I wanted to continue, though I really like Frost and Kitsune. My son told me I needed to keep reading. He said The Borderkind is better. Hasn’t read The Lost Ones. It’s missing from our library.
